Thanks to my spontaneous enthusiasm, I have learned to make packing lists, to prevent me forgetting things that are essential for making my stay out there a true vacation.
Everyone knows it is important to take everything you can possibly need, and every trip you take is different. Think about length, duration, location, weather and more, not one trip is the same.
I've created a few lists, not just for short hikes, but also longer ones. You can use these active checklists too, just tap or click on an item to check it off, add your own items which are specific for your area, print them, and most importantly: use them!
A list for a spontaneous or planned day hiking. Just the very basic needs for ONE DAY of planned walking are added. If you think you're going to stay away longer, check the list for the medium / long hike.
